Hopefully we’ve all been lucky enough to enjoy some good weather lately, and even if it’s only 15 minutes between rain showers, I’ve still got a good game for you!  (I think rain would make this even more fun!)  Pull out your trusty sidewalk chalk and let’s get counting!  I had sort of forgotten about hopscotch, but BabyBargain’s newfound love of both counting and bouncing (thanks, Tigger!) has made this the perfect game lately.  Just toddler-size your usual hopscotch board and let hilarity ensue!  Happy Friday everyone!

Okay, it’s not quite free, but it’s pretty close and I’ve been surprised how fun it is!  I’ll be the first to admit (and perhaps I don’t even need to if you’ve seen the picture,) that I have a brown thumb.  Watering, spacing, soil type- these are all foreign words to me.  Undeterred, I picked up a tiny packet of flower seeds with good instructions and BabyBargain and I set out to make some plants!  We had lots of fun planting them (although I didn’t follow the spacing directions!) and now every morning we get to spend a few minutes taking care of them and talking about how big they’ve gotten and what flowers like.  I have our little pot set on a tiny stool near the window so BabyBargain can go over and “pet” the baby flowers.  He loves it!  Happy planting!
